We are selling the house!

Well, it is finalized. We are selling the house! Yeah!!!! We are not moving out of town, just hopefully into a bigger place. I have been wanting to have a change. Our house is currently fine. It has three good bedrooms and gigantic great room which is open to the kitchen and breakfast room. Great for Megan and Will to play in and I can see what they are up to, but.... I just want a little more space for my hobbies and David's. We love to watch movies, but it is hard to watch with surround sound on and the speaker be right next to Will's bedroom wall. Also, I love to sew and do other crafts, but my current project area is the breakfast table. I usually have a project there for several weeks until I am finished and we have to eat around it. We also want another bedroom for out of town guests so we do not have to make Megan bunk with Will. She doesn't mind sleeping in Will's room. They usually have a really great time together.



Now back to selling the house. I found a house that I wanted in town. It is a 4 bedroom 4 bath with a formal living and dining room, a den, basement, kitchen, breakfast room and sitting room off of the master bedroom. It has a garage and the most beautiful back yard garden. The property has only been owned by one family and it has been well maintained. Next week we are going to offer for the property. But of course before it is all done we have to sell this one. Even though the market is slow right now, I think our chances are good. I am optimistic. David was amazed that it only took me two weeks to have the place cleaned out and half of our stuff in storage. He really doesn't know how motivated I am! Anyway, I will keep everyone posted as to how the selling goes. All I need is just one buyer that loves our property.
