Cleaning and Fixin'
So as you know we are going to sell our house. Well, I have been packing up all of our stuff. I cleaned out the kitchen cabinets to make everything look bigger and more spacious. I went through all of our closets to de-clutter and give away un-used toys and clothes. I have moved furniture out of the house to make the rooms look bigger. This process has taken me about 2 weeks. After all of that I am now cleaning the house to get all of the general dust and cat fur up. We have lovely cats and they like to shed fur everywhere expecially on clean chairs and rugs.
We are scheduled for a open house that the realty company will be hosting on November 2. Since the house is just listed I think that this will be a good opportunity to get the word out about a new listing and for people to come and see the property. It is fall and I have noticed that a lot of people starting to take their house off of the market in preparation for the holiday season. My thoughts are that there will still be people looking for a home to buy during the holidays, so why can't my home be the one they are looking for?
Back to Saturday. I will be cleaning out the flower beds and putting in big groupings of pansies. I love pansies in the winter. They look so pretty when everthing is dormant. They even look good in the spring when the bulbs start to come up. Wish me luck in getting everything done. I think I am going to need it!
