The Car of Death - AKA My 2003 VW Passat

I have a 2003 VW Passat. I really love my car. It rides well and drives well. It has there wonderful cockpit type controls and I absolutely love the console lights at night. But.....the car is giving us some problems. The latest problem was Sunday when we came home from church. The driver's side door would not open. It locked David in and he could not get out. He spent a good five minutes trying to open the door. He finally got it open using a pair of channel locks and prying the door lock up. Now to get in the car I have to crawl across the passenger's side seat. Very funny. Right now I do not find it annoying, but probably will when I have to keep getting in and out of the car a lot, especailly when I drop Megan and Will off at school.
