Finishing Projects - A Quilted Pillow

I am determined to finish some projects this year! See earlier rant concerning New Year's resolutions. Anyway, I looked through some of my projects that could be finished quickly and found this little quilted pillow. It is red, white, and blue, perfect for Will's room. I hand pieced and hand quilted the pillow. Each side has a different fabric pattern. I had started it as one of my first quilting projects when I took a beginner'squilting class at LSU when we lived in Baton Rouge. Let's see, that was about 13 years ago. So it has taken me 13 years to finish a single pillow! Ugh! I will say that I found that I love stars, so maybe this is where it all began.

Here is the view from the other side of the pillow.  This is my favorite side.  I really like the plaid and red together.

Here is a view of the pillow on Will's bed.  I have his bed a hodge-podge of pillows and patterns.  He likes it and doesn't seem to mind when he has to make up his bed and put all the pillows back on!
