Will turned four years old on April 1. He is our April Fools baby. Such a sweet boy. Since it was Spring Break I let him choose what he wanted to do for the day. We went to story time at the local library and afterwards looked at some books. I think that we were in the library for about an hour and a half. Next, he wanted to go to MacDonald's for lunch. It was such a great day to be outside, that I let Megan and Will play for another hour and a half. We then came home and got a little nap and waited for David to come home from work. For dinner we had Will's favorite meal, grilled cheese. Unfortunately, I had run out of confectioners sugar and was unable to finish his birthday cake. He didn't seem to mind. He wanted to wait and share a piece with Poppaw and Mama B when they got here the next day. After dinner was opening presents. He loved all of his gifts, which was mainly CARS. Then I let them stay up late and we all watched
Toy Story. It was a really great day. I hope that he will remember that we really enjoyed being together on his birthday.

Of course, being a birthday, you just don't get one whole day, we usually have multiple days. Mama B and Poppaw came for a visit to celebrate his birthday too. The next day he got to have "Happy Birthday" sung to him again, then the candles were blown out on the cake (which I was able to finish) and another round of wrapping paper was discarded. It was almost like Christmas!
