Megan's First Loose Tooth

It has happened. The first loose tooth. One of the first signs that my little girl is growing up. It always happens. You get into a rut and think, "She is my little girl and will be my little girl forever." But unfortunetly not. Megan was so excited to find that two of her teeth were loose. She wanted me to feel them wiggle back and forth. Then we discussed the tooth fairy and when she would come. Next came the big statement, "But mama, I don't have a tooth fairy pillow. She is not going to come and visit me." Big tears started to run down her face. I sighed then asked if she would like to use my tooth fairy pillow that I used when I was her age, secretly hoping that my mother still had it and it was not in rags from age and use. She brightened instantly and said that would be wonderful! The next day, I had to put in a call to request the tooth fairy pillow and Mama B shipped it next day air for Megan. Now we wait. We wait for the tooth to fall out and for the new, adult tooth to peep through. We wait for her to grow from being a preschooler to becoming a young lady.
