Curious George

We have just started a new tradition, family movie night. On Friday nights either Megan or Will get to select a movie, we have early baths, eat supper, then snuggle on the couch to view the featured selection. Tonight we watched Curious George. I have been reading the books to Will and he has really enjoyed them. I have even watched the TV series on PBS but we have never watched the movie. I do not think that Megan remembers the show and I know that Will does not, he was only a few months old when we watched it. Anyway, I popped the DVD in and we began to watch. It was a great movie but the truly amazing thing was that Will was entranced. He giggled, he laughed, he was sad. He reflected everything that happened to George. He was truly a part of the film. I loved watching his face reflect all of his emotions. At the end, when he was going to bed he decided that he was a monkey and his name was George. He went around the house imitating a monkey. I even wished "George" goodnight and to dream of bananas. This was truly a great Friday night experience!
