Lighting Strike

Last Friday we had a summer storm with a lot of lighting.  Well, a stray bolt hit our house.  Nothing caught on fire but we do have some damage.  So far this is what is wrong:

1. fried digital phone base so we have to get all new phones,
2. fried Ethernet cable (computer is fine),
3. fried circuit board on the main AC unit (yes it is a warm 78 degrees in the house),
4. a non working thermostat on the refrigerator (we are having interesting meals so all of the food will not spoil),
5. a non working HDMI plug on the HDTV (TV is fine) and
6. a non working irrigation system.

I bet if I wait a few more days, then something else will be broken.  Oh, joy!
