Snow at Christmas
December 26, 2010
The day after Christmas it snowed in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Can you actually believe it? I could not and neither could the rest of the family. We had to take plenty of pictures to prove that it actually happened. Megan and Will went outside with David Sunday afternoon. They ran around the front yard and tried to catch the snowflakes with their tongues.
After several hours the snow was really starting to come down. I had to take a picture of it coming down in the back garden. It looked so pretty. By nightfall the snow had covered the David's truck and Judy's car. She was quite worried about going back to Mississippi the next morning. Fortunately, the roads did not freeze and she was able to leave to go back home. We were all sorry to see her go. Secretly we wished she could have been snowed it for a few more days. We could have had a lot more fun together. You never know what type of crafty projects I could have come up with for the children and their grandmother to do together!
