Wool Appliqued Santa Pillow

Every year around Thanksgiving I get in the Christmas crafting mood. I buy these really cute projects that shouldn't take that long and start them when we travel to Mississippi. A nine hour ride in the car gives you a lot of time to get some hand sewing done. Then, as usual we come home and have so much to do that the project lays unfinished until the next time I clean out my unfinished closet and notice it, usually in July. This year I am going to try to finish my Christmas projects before November. This is the first one. I saw it in a craft magazine and ordered a kit from Bird Brain Designs. It was easy to attach the felted wool to the top square by using fusible webbing. The only time it took was for the hand applique and sewing on the sequins. I cannot wait to put him out for Christmas next year!
